Ferienwohnung Unterberg im Haus Christl

Traveling off-season meant Haus Christl was a quiet, cozy place to spend our week. The owner did a lot to make us comfortable, starting with friendly emails before we arrived. She had homemade cookies and jam waiting for us, which made us feel welcome straight away. The apartment was very clean and well kept, with comfortable beds and a kitchen that had everything we needed. We were four people for a week and couldn’t fault the amenities. We had a lovely stay at Christl’s.

We stayed for nine nights and would happily come back. The apartment was very quiet and still close to the town center, with the swimming pool within walking distance. We could also store our bicycles securely. The owners were friendly and helpful, and had thought of so many practical details: tissues, a shoehorn, winter slippers, an umbrella, two coffee makers with the first coffee pods, plus a toaster, egg cooker, vinegar and oil. There was a lot of thought put into the place. Highly recommended.

The mountain view is lovely, and the apartment is very nicely equipped. The family was warm, attentive, and accommodating.

The bathroom underfloor heating was a real plus, and the beds were comfortable. Everything was clean and tidy, with pretty much all you might need for a week. The only thing I wondered about was the blunt knives when I was cutting fruit. Maybe other guests had put them in the dishwasher, but they could easily be sharpened.
