If you’re after high-end accommodation, you’ll need to look elsewhere. But for a well-kept, comfortable stay at a fair price, I’d recommend this place. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and the service is excellent. Breakfast was just right, with fresh rolls every day, different freshly prepared eggs, and all the other things you’d want. The rooms are perfectly adequate, decorated in a restrained vintage style that fits the region.

The location worked really well for outings, whether walking around the village, hiking in the countryside, or exploring the surrounding Bavarian Alps. The hostess knew the region well and answered all our questions kindly, with useful tips for things to do. At Gästehaus Flora in Reit im Winkl, we were welcomed warmly and felt at home right away. Service was excellent, and our dog was made welcome too. We could even charge our vehicle on site. The breakfast buffet was a highlight, with a huge range of food, more than we’ve often seen in larger hotels. Our room was very clean and tidy, and thoroughly cleaned each day. We’d love to return and highly recommend the guesthouse.

Breakfast was hearty, with excellent rolls and eggs from the property’s own chickens. We didn’t need to book it separately, which worked perfectly for us. We’ve just returned from a stay with our dog in a very clean, extremely spacious apartment. It would easily fit 4-6 people, so it’s ideal for families. There were two large bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen with a sofa, and a lovely big balcony accessible from the kitchen and one bedroom. We slept peacefully, and the hosts were so friendly that we felt right at home. We’ll be happy to come back.
