We had plenty of room for our family of four in the first-floor corner apartment. It had two bedrooms, a bathroom, a small kitchen, a pleasant living room and a spacious balcony, with a pretty view. My parents stayed next door in a comfortable double room with a bedroom, hall, bathroom and big balcony. The staff were a friendly, helpful family, and the price was good. Breakfast came with the stay and had lots of choice. The hotel is right in the center, with shops nearby, and Winklmoosalm/Steinplatte was just an eight-minute drive away, or reachable by local bus. We went skiing, and it was handy to have a large downstairs area for ski gear, including somewhere to dry our boots. We stayed for a wonderful week and would recommend it. Thanks for everything!

The restaurant had a warming fire, and the food was as Bavarian as you could hope for. The young couple who have just taken over are aiming to make everyone feel at home. We haven't had such an enthusiastic welcome in a long time.

We had a great time in this lovely town and will definitely be back soon. Roland and Stephie, the two owners, made us feel at home in their clean, very friendly hotel. The WiFi was good too. We went skiing, skating and sledging with the kids.

The service was extraordinarily friendly, the location is perfect, and breakfast is tasty and included. For a low price, you get what you need. Some things are out of order or don't work properly, though, and the place needs renovation. That's why I'm giving it four stars. We'd still visit again.

We'd definitely recommend the restaurant. The food was tasty, portions were quite large, and the prices reasonable. They have a children's menu, and it was nice that the kids' food came out first. The staff were friendly and spoke a little English.
