The location is great, the rooms are clean and quiet, and I liked the wonderful old-style furniture. Reception were friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was good, though the dessert wasn’t. I’ll be back, thank you 🙏 I’d give the hotel four stars, but I’m taking one off because when I arrived there was a full rubbish bag in my room, left by the previous guests. Why didn’t the cleaners notice it? For this price, you don’t expect to find that.

For 107.28 EUR a night, I expected better. There wasn’t even ceiling lighting, just two lamps, and one had wires sticking out. The bathroom had cracked old tiles, a very shabby yellowish bathtub, and an even shabbier sink. Where the refrigerator should be, there was just a hole in the cupboard. This was a business stay, so I had no choice. Personally, I’d never stay here again. Probably the worst room I’ve slept in lately.

The hotel restaurant is good, and the pizza looks tasty. The breakfast, though, is poor. The building has a nice historic feel and an enjoyable garden, but inside the hotel feels aged and needs maintenance. Rooms are small, services are limited, and I had some concerns about the cleaning. Fine for a short business trip.
