10/10
There’s a nature park just across the street, and the neighborhood is quiet. Bars and restaurants in Renningen are about a 15 minute walk away. It’s also close to Stuttgart and other major cities, which makes it a handy base for day trips to the more expensive surrounding areas. The staff were wonderful. Shout out to Robin, Max, and Anna, who went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. I also really enjoyed the food, every meal I tried was excellent. Guests can use the sauna, gym, and several open patios in nice weather. My one wish is for better in-room entertainment. The TV only had German-language channels and no streaming services, so I would have liked something to watch during my downtime. I’d still definitely recommend staying here.

A nice spot out in the countryside, with modern, clean rooms.

The rooms are clean and modern, and the location is ideal for visiting Bosch in Renningen. I also liked the restaurant, which has a great menu, indoor and outdoor dining, and bars.

8/10
The restaurant and rooms are both good, and Bosch Research is close by, about a 20 minute walk. I’d recommend booking directly through the hotel website, since that gives you flexibility if you need to check out early. Getting in on Sunday afternoon can be tricky because the front desk is unstaffed and you need a code to enter. The restaurant is closed that day too, and the nearest other restaurant I found was about 2 km away.

It was quiet and comfortable, but the heating and cooling system made the stay uncomfortable. The room was hot, and when I switched on the AC, the central ventilation still only ran in heating mode. The receptionist came to check, then said he’d update me in a couple of minutes. He never came back or got in touch. Bad service.
