Ferienhaus Garz

After driving through the night with a toddler, being allowed into the house much earlier than planned was such a relief. The host was very kind, and any requests for towels or other things were taken care of right away. We also found jam and juice waiting on the kitchen table. The house had everything we needed, including a washer, dishwasher, oven, and four TVs. It was a perfect fit for us, especially with the children's rehabilitation clinic only a five-minute walk away. Thanks, we'll definitely return.

Couple, May 2022 If you're hoping for quiet nights and a restful break, this place probably isn't for you. The house sits on a busy main road, and sleeping was hard with the badly worn mattresses. On warm days, the attic gets unbearable because there's nothing on the windows to block the light or sun. The kitchen is short on basics like bowls, a sieve, and small knives. The dishwasher racks are rusty, and the coffee maker is old and worn. The house has clearly had better days. There wasn't anywhere to eat in the village, since everything but one snack bar was closed. Unfortunately, its food was inedible.

The house was just as described, with very well-kept furnishings, and we were given a lovely welcome. Its location worked especially well for exploring the southern part of the island. We'd happily come back.

We'd gladly stay here again. The holiday home is in top shape, modern, and very well cared for, and it made a great base for exploring Rügen.
