The coffee was fantastic, and the traditional German breakfast was really good too. The hostess was friendly and professional, and the room was simple, nicely kept, and had everything you’d expect from a traditional German bedroom. The property seems recently renovated or very well cared for, with the traditional German wood and inn-style decorations done tastefully, not over the top. I’d happily stay again. A fan in the room would be a nice addition, just a suggestion. 😁

The double bed wasn’t comfortable, but everything else was fine. The place is central and clean.

Cyclists will especially appreciate the location, and there’s a dedicated room where bikes can be stored securely. The rooms are clean and practical, and the staff are incredibly kind. I asked for an extra pillow and got it promptly. It’s a lovely little hotel where guests really feel valued.

We love this place so much we’ve been three times in two weeks. The staff are fun, helpful, and friendlier than anyone we’ve encountered in years. Breakfast is all you can eat for €14.50, with coffee, tea, and two kinds of juice. The only downside is that parking is limited. I haven’t stayed overnight, so I can’t say anything about the rooms. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Best hotel and restaurant for miles around.
