The garden beside the Wierra sounds especially lovely in spring and summer, and the river setting is peaceful. We stayed over Easter and Sabine looked after us so warmly, she really has a big heart. The old building has been restored with care, and it’s fascinating to browse the photos and newspaper articles going back to the 19th century. Our room was spotless and quiet, with high ceilings, good ventilation, and fast Wi-Fi. There’s no coffee machine in the room, but there’s a nice range of tea. It’s only about five minutes by car from the Central Station. A lovely calm place to stay. Hartelijk bedankt, Catharina & Leonidas uit Rotterdam.

We came from Canada on our first trip to Germany without knowing quite what to expect, and Michaela made it an amazing experience for my husband and me. The staff were wonderful, and the food was really tasty. The villa is close to all the amenities, with a beautiful view. The rooms are spacious, and the quality is every bit as good as the size. We’re so pleased with everything and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a great holiday. Thank you, Michaela.

The river location makes it easy to get to the main square, and parking across the river was really convenient. There were always spaces. We were travelling around the area and stayed here, enjoying this handsome historic 1800s building with its high ceilings. The bathrooms have been modernized, the Wi-Fi worked very well, and breakfast offered plenty of choice, including the option to have eggs cooked. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and no complaints.

Right in the center of the city, so the location is very good. The room was comfortable, and breakfast was pretty ordinary.
