We've visited twice and felt at home both times. In summer, breakfast on the terrace with that magnificent view is lovely, and it's just as nice to sit there with a cool drink as the sun goes down. The evening setup is easy too: take a drink from the fridge, write down what you had, then relax in the lounge or outside. Now that some rooms allow dogs, we'll definitely return.

The staff are friendly and attentive, and breakfast has everything you could want. The spot is wonderfully peaceful if you're looking to recharge, with a breathtaking view across the Allgäu region. We'll definitely be back. 👌😇👌

The personal feel and thoughtful details at KUKU Berghotel made our trip special. Kerstin and Ute looked after us so well, and the regional breakfast included treats like dandelion jam. We also loved the regional snack platter we ordered for our arrival day. The hotel is a real gem in the Allgäu, right at the foot of Grünten, with sweeping views and a peaceful setting. Rettenberg's three breweries and beer-themed hiking trails are close by, while the Alpsee mountain world and other activities are easy to reach. The individually themed rooms and warm hospitality give the place a charming, unusual character. KUKU means KUltig, KUrioses Berghotel, and it really fits. We'd love to come back.

They've thought of so many little details here, and the place has a lovely charm. The rooms, breakfast, location, and people were all wonderful. Everything felt just right. Highly recommended.
