City Hotel Fortuna

The location was a real plus, close to the city center and some great restaurants less than five minutes away on foot. I was there for a three-week business trip. My room was clean and quiet, though a bit dark, and warm. Breakfast was good, especially the scrambled eggs. There’s a small free parking area as well as paid parking. I had a good experience.

My room was spacious and clean, and the restaurant staff were kind and accommodating when I asked for gluten-free bread. But I was extremely disappointed that my expensive pajamas disappeared from my room. I told the manager, who said they had searched and couldn’t find them. There was no sincere apology or compensation. I also hung up my towel with the pajamas because it didn’t need washing, hoping to save energy under the hotel’s ecological policy, but they washed it anyway. I’d avoid bringing expensive belongings here, since it seems to be at your own risk. I’m still waiting for a response to my complaint, even though I checked out on 3 September 2023.

Everything’s cool and fine. Come and smoke here.

The hotel was neat and close to the family I came to visit, so walking back and forth was easy. The bed, though, was small and less comfortable than I’d hoped. They put two small duvets on one bed, which didn’t work for me as someone staying with a partner. I raised it with reception, but was told that’s how they do it there. I found that unacceptable.
