Hotel-Restaurant Klostermühle

It's a nice three-star hotel right by the Neckar river, with two outdoor bars or restaurants that get busy in the evenings. The food is very good, and the service is super friendly. The waitstaff are happy to help you choose what to order. I highly recommend visiting the bar, you won't regret it.

There was plenty of parking, and the staff were friendly, but the room had a lot of problems. The furniture and mattress were very old, the blanket was itchy, and there was someone else's hair on the pillow. The bathroom was clean, though the old carpet needs replacing, and there were spider webs in every corner. It was very noisy, and I couldn't sleep because the guest next door watched TV all night. The internet kept cutting out, and there was no signal in the room. The old stairs made it hard to carry luggage upstairs, and the price was far too high.

The food was great and fairly priced, and breakfast was good. The staff were so friendly that I even picked up a little Hungarian, haha. My room was small but had more than enough space, aside from the super thin pillow, which is just my personal preference. This beautiful hotel in a lovely location is definitely worth a visit.

A really nice river view, but a dam cleaning machine kept waking us every half hour through the night. The room was okay, though it felt a little worn. We stayed one night.
