The hostess was so friendly, and the hotel is well placed for walking to historic sights. It also works well for shopping, so I'd recommend it to travelers interested in both.

The shops are right nearby, and it's easy to catch a bus to other places. I love how central Wachtraum is, especially since all my friends live close by. The rooms are very clean and nicely renovated, with complete privacy. I'd definitely book again.

I tried both the Castell apartment and the Mansarde attic room, and each had its own charming furnishings. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was modern, and everything was very clean. Wi-Fi worked flawlessly for video calls, which was especially useful for work. The location is about as good as it gets, and the price is great for what you get. Plenty of parking garages are right beside the building.
