Ferienwohnung Am Brunnen (Nähe Europapark)

There’s only one parking space per apartment, despite there being room for a whole bus. You can park for free on the street instead. The apartment was laid out nicely and very clean, with a balcony facing away from the road. Everything worked, including the electric shutters and kitchen, and all the necessary equipment was there. It’s suitable for families with a few children.

The bus stop is only a minute away, and the hourly bus to Europa-Park made getting there and back much easier. We also had a kebab and pizza place right outside, with a bakery and fresh fruit stand close by. At the other end of town there’s a great Thai restaurant with something for every taste. Our courtyard-facing apartment stayed quiet, with windows that cut down the street noise and exterior blinds. It was especially nice coming back from Europa-Park in 37-degree heat to a cool room. The Höldin family had switched on the air conditioning for us. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a dishwasher, and the rooms were clean and well cared for. We’ll definitely stay with the Höldin family again. You don’t get the loud after-park noise that you hear right in Rust.

Mr. and Mrs. Hölding rescued our evening. We had to find somewhere else after 8 p.m. because we didn’t feel comfortable at our original place, and Mr. Hölding kindly got everything ready despite the late hour. The apartment was clean and cozy, the location was great, and communication was excellent. Highly recommended, and thank you!

There’s a shared washing machine and dryer, but they’re kept locked, so you have to wait and see when someone decides to use them. I wish the apartments had their own.
