Loftapartment Süd

The location is excellent, with Netto and Aldi supermarkets, playgrounds, and more nearby. Our daughter loved the play kitchen and the courtyard playground, and parking is available right in the courtyard. We stayed two nights with our children on the second floor. The apartment has a large kitchen, modern bathroom, separate bedroom, and spacious living room. It’s a great place with real potential, though it could use a little TLC. We host over 40 units ourselves, and these are the things we noticed: The apartment was cold, and with a baby it would have been nice to have the heating set to level 2. It could use measuring cups and colanders. Towels in one color would look better than four different ones. The living room blind was broken, and the bedroom was much too bright because its blind didn’t block the light at all, which is difficult for families or late sleepers. A crib slat was broken, and some chair backrests were broken too, so the chairs need replacing. Covers aren’t enough anymore. We booked through the Amex portal and don’t know if that caused the check-in trouble. We had a code for the apartment door but not the main entrance, and didn’t know which apartment was ours. We did the online check-in, but the link didn’t give much information. Stuck outside with two children, we couldn’t get in until a neighbor gave us the front door code. Then we had to try every door in the building before finding our apartment on the second floor. There was no quick way to contact anyone with a question. If the information is listed everywhere, it should be accessible through every portal. We hope the hosts sort this out so we can have a successful stay next time.

We only stayed two nights, but the comfort really surprised us. Nothing was missing, and we felt right at home. We’ll definitely come back and can wholeheartedly recommend it.

We'd happily stay here again. The apartment was bright and clean, and the kitchen was well equipped, with a cute little play kitchen too. It was a lovely place for a short trip to Leipzig with the kids.

Really well kept and very clean, with a fully equipped kitchen and everything else you need. A top-notch place, definitely recommend it.
