This was completely unprofessional. I booked through Booking.com but never got a door code. When I arrived and called the hotline, which seemed to be foreign, they couldn't find any booking under my name or with my confirmation. I found the whole thing very untrustworthy. Too bad zero stars isn't an option.

The people behind this apartment are what made me want to write such a detailed review. Before and during our stay, they answered my many questions quickly, kindly, and very professionally. I felt like a valued customer the whole time. Their reliable and trusting service deserves a huge thank you, especially to Marco Hackenjos. You're fantastic! After 14 days, we're even more impressed. Every detail has been thought through, right down to child safety locks on all the electrical outlets. The washing machine is new, modern, and quiet, and there's even a potato peeler. We never heard the neighbors, and there was always free parking right outside. The location was perfect for us, with a lovely park and forest nearby, a great dog park just a 10-minute walk away, and a supermarket close by. We'd happily recommend this apartment to anyone. We stayed in the apartment for four days at first and were already thrilled. Clara Zetkin Park and the floodplain forest are just minutes away, and Konsum Leipzig, with its fantastic selection, is nearby too. The sunny terrace has comfortable seating, and the newly planted cherry laurels make a lovely view from both the bedroom and living room. The bedroom bed is brand new and incredibly comfortable, and we slept very well. Soft bedding, new lamps and bedside tables make it cosy. There's enough storage in the chest of drawers and on the clothes rack for the 14 days we booked. The new sofa and stylish dining table stood out in the living room, and the TV picture is fantastic. The internet speed is excellent too. We're both IT professionals working from home, and everything worked perfectly. The newly furnished kitchen is equipped with care, as is the whole apartment. It feels as if the owners live here themselves. Everything is there, including a refrigerator, oven, small practical dishwasher, stove, kettle, toaster, and coffee maker, all brand new. The pots, pans, unusual cutlery, dishes, and cutting boards are all high quality. The thoughtful owners have provided coffee, filters, sugar, creamer, salt, pepper, good oil, dishwasher tablets, kitchen towels, baking paper, and probably something I've forgotten. The bathroom has a new, high-quality washing machine, plus a hairdryer, soap, cotton pads, detergent, toilet paper, and a drying rack. There's a new shower system with two options, a classic shower and a spacious shower. The towels are incredibly soft. The residents in the building are very quiet, and the super-fast elevator made our stay even nicer.

The apartment was nice and clean, and the guy was friendly too. I hope I can stay there again sometime 😊

A lovely apartment. I only dealt with a maintenance company, though, and didn't communicate directly with the owner.
