We arrived at Brauhaus Napoleon with my family at 7:00 PM, but our food didn't come until 8:20. When I politely asked about it around 8:00, I got a rude response. The waitstaff seemed tense and stressed that night, but that doesn't excuse how I was spoken to. Nobody apologized or even acknowledged the delay, and there was no offer of a discount. Bad customer service. We won't be back.

The food was mostly good, and the atmosphere and beer were great. Getting a dinner reservation was tricky because they didn't answer the phone. We waited at the bar for a while, then managed to get a table. Good value for money overall. PS, they don't have rooms.

The neighborhood is quiet, though it isn't especially appealing. Inside, the atmosphere is nice, the beer is good, and the German food is pretty good too. The staff are friendly and can help you pick a dish and a beer.

The portions are generous and the prices reasonable. The waitress even brought over a Windows tab with the menu translated into English before we asked. Great food and excellent service, and their wheat beer is a great example of the style.

We first came here when visiting Leipzig before our move, and even during the pandemic it was the best place we'd found for German food and service. We still go back because it's always great. The service is great, and it's a nice choice for meat lovers. A great place overall.
