It’s a huge campsite, with even a camping church, but I can’t comment on the rooms. I found it noisy at night, though apparently I was supposed to call reception. As a bike traveller, I thought almost 30 euros for one night was extremely expensive. The tent area had almost no shade, while the camper and caravan pitches were shaded by trees.

We pitched right beside the lake. There was some nighttime noise from frogs and geese, but the people were quiet. It’s a large campsite with a shop and restaurant, and the toilets and showers were amazingly clean and well maintained.

A fantastic spot with two freshwater lakes. This is a five star camping site, though it gets very busy with families, long term residents and mobile homes. There are nice restaurants and shops, plus a beach bar.

The peaceful setting has plenty of hiking and cycling routes along the river. I loved my two nights in a tent here. The staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. My pitch was spacious, and it was great to choose it online beforehand. The toilets and showers were kept very clean, and the shop was handy. I didn’t eat at either restaurant, so can’t comment on them.
