The schnitzel was the best I’ve had in Germany, and Elvis deserves a hello. But what really stood out was how welcoming and friendly the staff were, more than at any of the 500+ hotels I’ve stayed in. This was one of my favorite places in Germany. It felt like home away from home, and I’d give it 7 stars if I could 🌟 🇩🇪

We liked the dinner, and the rooms were quiet, but we won’t be coming back. On the day of rest, the old barn door basically made us our own doormen. There was apparently Wi-Fi, but nobody mentioned it at check-in and there was no information posted about it. Breakfast was another letdown. Benny had forgotten to buy jam, so we had to get our own from the room, and then I found a long gray hair in my scrambled eggs. Finally, Benny, who’d forgotten the jam, kicked us out at 10:00 PM. We didn’t think that was appropriate.
