The main difficulty was the heat. It was very hot during our stay, and keeping the chalet cool was hard. The bathroom arrangement was a little strange too: there’s only a bath in the top-floor bedroom, while the main bathroom and en-suite are downstairs. The chalet has three floors. We knew about this from the website, though, and it was still amazing. I’d highly recommend it. Chalet Louise was spotlessly clean, gorgeous, and really well equipped, with beautiful mountain views. Communication before and during our stay was great, and we appreciated being able to check out a little later. It’s in a lovely quiet village just outside Fussen, handy for the rest of the area, with a superb butcher, great rolls, a bakery, and a couple of lovely local restaurants.

We felt very comfortable and had a wonderful vacation in this sensational property. Communication with the owners was fantastic from the start, and the house had everything we could need. The village has a small but excellent butcher shop and a wonderful pastry shop, with the lake just a short walk away. The location is excellent, and everything is easy to reach on foot. We could park in the garage and charge our electric car there too. They’ve thought of everything.

We rented both houses Sunday to Wednesday for 12 people, and everyone felt comfortable. We’ll certainly return. The property’s wood ambiance and cleanliness were outstanding, and the amenities were all provided at the highest quality. It was a pleasure cooking, grilling, and dining together. We could also charge our electric vehicles for free in the two garages, a thoughtful touch. Lake Forggensee and the Lech Valley are exceptionally well located for a stay here. We walked 15 minutes to swim and stand-up paddleboard in the lake’s turquoise water every day. There was also a fantastic 10km hike from the property to Lake Hopfensee and Lake Faulensee. The three castles and Lech Valley are easy to get to if you want to explore further. Thank you so much!

It’s a lovely house and has everything you need, with great equipment. The only slightly annoying thing is that the toilets are downstairs, especially if your room is right up in the attic.

We all felt completely at home in this wonderful apartment. It has everything you could wish for, from the wallbox in the garage to a fully equipped kitchen and lots of thoughtful little details. The Wi-Fi was stable too, with no lag.
