The guesthouse sits behind the building, away from the town traffic, so it was completely quiet. Our room was spotless, too. I can't say anything about the kitchen because it was closed on Sunday. For somewhere this close to Erfurt, I'd recommend the hotel.

We had our Christmas party here, and everyone made us feel so welcome. The food and service were amazing!!! I'd definitely recommend it! 👌

I felt really uncomfortable here. When there aren't any guests around, the staff carefully inspect the rented room, and later you'll get a severe telling-off if you've left too many drops of water on the bathroom floor. The owner came across as a truly creepy person. Even a small favor like getting hot boiled water was only allowed if we'd ordered food from the hotel first. It left me feeling like the owner kept a very close eye on guests and controlled what they did. This expensive hotel didn't live up to our expectations. There are much cheaper places in the area. Guests deserve to be treated properly, especially when we already run into enough grumpy people in everyday life. It's a real shame such a terrible hotel is in such a beautiful location.
