Ferienwohnung Walter

That big garden is such a relaxing spot, and it's great for barbecues. We found a friendly, family feel here, with wonderful hosts and everything needed for a few days at Europa-Park/Rulantica. We'd be happy to come back anytime :)

The hostess was really nice, and the apartment had what we needed for a short holiday. It's well placed for trips to Europa-Park or the Rulantica water park in Rust next door.

Mrs. Walter was so kind with us and the children. The place is beautifully put together and has what you need, including towels, bed linen and tea towels. We slept well in the comfortable beds, and the patio with barbecue is nicely done. From here it's a five-minute walk to Europa-Park, visible from the nearby playground and the small animal park run by the animal lovers' association. There are plenty of restaurants around, plus a bakery, a butcher and a rather unattractive NORMA supermarket. Further away in Herbolzheim, there's a factory outlet for sweets from the Bärencompany. A lovely holiday apartment, highly recommended.

The Walter family made us feel welcome again, just like on our first three visits. We keep booking here whenever we go to Europa Park. The apartment is lovely, clean and roomy for eight people. Once, when we had an extra child along, they put an extra bed in our bedroom, and there was still plenty of space. On another visit we asked if we could grill meat in the garden, since we'd brought a griddle. Then we saw Mr. Walter driving around on his scooter. He'd brought coal and silverware, and had set up two barbecues, one gas and one charcoal. He also took the children around the large garden to show us the fruit trees. When we offered to put the chairs we'd used back in the adjoining area, he told us he'd handle it because we were on vacation. We could see when we'd stayed from the guestbook.
