Gästehaus Weber

The bakery opens at 6, so we could pick up delicious rolls, and there are tasty, reasonably priced restaurants in the village too. We stayed here for the third time in August, combining the trip toward Italy with a visit to Europapark, which you can see from the guesthouse. The apartments are clean and well cared for, with a great kitchen, coffee and tea facilities, and a fridge with a freezer. Mrs. Weber is so friendly and always gives us a warm welcome. See you next year!

The rooms and bathroom were clean, and the village is large and peaceful with a nice location. I would have rated it one star higher, but when we arrived, the landlady's welcome felt so unwelcoming that we felt as if we were bothering her.

The price was more than reasonable, and getting to Europa-Park and Rulantica took less than ten kilometers. We had a fantastic welcome. The apartment was spacious and in excellent condition, and having two bathrooms was a real bonus.

The host made this a poor experience. He wasn't there at the agreed time, so we spent half an hour looking for him around the neighbors, and he didn't answer the phone. He took the payment without giving us a receipt and didn't speak English. The bathroom heating has another timer on the opposite wall, but nobody explained how to switch it on, so we had to bathe the children in cold water. The TV also didn't work, and we couldn't explain the problem or get it resolved because we couldn't communicate with the host.
