The staff were generally friendly, though they weren't very quick to respond. During my three-week stay, the bedding and towels were changed just once, so the service fell short. The apartment felt a little dated, and even after the owner acted on my complaints, the biggest problem remained: there were loads of ants and other insects inside.

The owner knew the place was cold in winter and still wouldn't do anything about it. The heating gets turned off, so I can't recommend this accommodation at all. It was the worst place I've ever stayed.

We were able to spend a lovely warm autumn evening together on the terrace with our dogs, since the two apartments were right next to each other. We'd only booked log cabins, but the owner placed us in two wonderful holiday apartments instead, and didn't charge us extra even though they're normally more expensive. We were there with friends, each of us with a dog, and had a great time. The accommodation and hosts were both lovely, and lots of sights are easy to reach by car. Danke an Familie Fischer!

We enjoyed the pool, and even over just a weekend the place felt like a proper holiday. The grounds are small and beautifully landscaped, and our apartment was very well equipped. The only thing we missed was heating in the evenings when it turned cooler.

We booked a log cabin while passing through on a cycling trip. The grounds sit at the edge of the forest and have a pool. Breakfast was good, though at €15 per person I think it could be better. With so many mosquitoes around in the evenings, fly screens on the windows would have been welcome.
