Hotel Pension Fischer

The breakfast was great, with bread, jams, Nutella, lunch meat, and more, and the owner was helpful and knew the city well. The hotel is directly across from a subway station, and one of the hop-on hop-off bus starting points is a short walk away. Inside, the architecture is really cool. It's a small, charming place, and the staff are all extremely nice. There's no elevator, so you'll need to carry your bags up two flights, but it wasn't too bad for us. In room #1, the bathroom is a little way down the hall instead of inside the room. We weren't there much during the day, so that worked out fine. I'd definitely stay again.

The Wi-Fi was the best part for me. People seem to enjoy the breakfast, but I found it to be a pretty standard Continental one. The pension is on the top floor, so getting luggage upstairs means dealing with the stairs, and there's no air conditioning. A fan was enough in our room as long as it wasn't a hot day, though a heat wave would be another story. We spent two nights here. It's very convenient, right by Netto and a subway station, with lots of restaurants, shops, and shopping centers nearby. There are only a few parking spaces at the pension, so we couldn't get one. We used a nearby parking lot about 200 meters away, which cost €17 a day.

Good price and a central spot. The owner and staff were friendly and had great local tips and information. I'll definitely come back.

Friendly people at this small hotel. Just wish breakfast started a little earlier.
