Hotel Kiez Pension

For the price, the location and rooms are amazing. The metro is only a few minutes away, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby. All the employees were super friendly and accommodating. One light in our room didn't work, and a glass fixture was broken.

Our luggage was kindly kept in the luggage room until check-in since we arrived early. I also really liked the sweets at reception. The room was warm and cozy, and the hotel was clean and tidy, especially the bathroom, which was in very good condition. Shops and cafes nearby stay open late, and the metro is a two-minute walk away.

There are loads of restaurants a short walk away, and a great market in a park about ten minutes away on Saturdays and Sundays. The hotel is small but suited our trip perfectly. It was spotlessly clean, and our room was comfortable with a great shower. S and U bahn trains are very close, making it easy to get around Berlin and reach the airport.

It's a place to sleep rather than hang out. There's no lift, and there's really nowhere to sit since the rooms are small and there are no common spaces. The rooms are clean and the staff are nice, but the rooms themselves are utterly unremarkable. Breakfasts are great value. The neighborhood looks unpleasant at night, though it's actually fine, and quite busy. An underground station is very close, and there's a great pizza place two blocks away.
