The breakfast was great and well worth it, and the room was fairly clean and spacious enough that three of us didn’t feel cramped. There’s internet access in the rooms, though there aren’t many good places to eat nearby. The hotel’s old, with a tiny elevator that doesn’t reach the top floor. If you have a heavy suitcase, carrying it partway up the stairs can be a challenge. The door has a regular key lock, and there are no in-room safes, so I wouldn’t leave valuables there. The nearest U-Bahn stop is a little over a block away, but it can be daunting to find if you’ve never been. Map your walking route beforehand. The area on the east side feels a bit sketchy.

Free coffee was the only part of our stay I enjoyed. We had no hot water for half the time and there was a power outage. The rooms were missing basic things like a kettle, and some had no powerpoints. Staff were unfriendly, spoke very little English, and made hardly any effort to help us understand them. They also didn’t want to return the key deposit.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the heating worked well. We had a clean, spacious room on the fifth floor with a nice balcony, though the elevator only went to the fourth. We’d ordered a room with three beds. The bathroom was large and clean, but there was no sink on the floor and no bathtub. Unfortunately, there was no refrigerator either. Breakfast was good, though the selection was limited. Overall, we were satisfied.

The room was comfortable and clean, with big windows, and it was cleaned every day. Breakfast was included. The facilities were great and the staff really kind. We had a TV, Wi-Fi, private bathroom, towels, soap, and a hairdryer.
