The forest and lake are lovely, with fresh air, clear water, and a great landscape. I walked 6-8 km. The paths and facilities like chairs are well maintained, and the lake is clean. People seem safe walking alone. The road can be slippery, so good boots matter, and bring a small umbrella or you'll find out why. A weekly walk in this kind of forest feels like a mind detox and helps with stress. Parking is easy. During COVID, the shops were closed, but otherwise it's a nice place to spend an evening with beer and food. 🍺👍

The food was delicious, and the setting was lovely. It feels so cozy, like being at my grandmother's. 10 outta 10.

The rumpsteak was cooked just right and tasted great. A peaceful, pretty spot with chickens wandering around, plus a spacious Biergarten with long Festtische.

Oliver and Katha are the reason I found this place. Beautiful food, and really good food.
