There’s no WiFi by default, which lets you enjoy a break from being online. You can request a connection or bring your own internet stick. Bio-Ferienhaus-Eifel is in Rott near Roetgen, at the quiet edge of a forest between Aachen, the Rursee lake and Monschau. The house was built using organic principles. Nearby, Rott has a gourmet restaurant and a restaurant serving game, both about 1 km away. Aachen also has plenty of good vegan restaurants. Inside, the fully equipped kitchen comes with a bathroom stocked with towels and a hairdryer. The spacious living area has a fireplace and unlimited firewood, including wood for the barbecue, plus a stereo with CD player, TV that you can connect a laptop to, pull-out sofa, dining area and a reading nook with books.

It’s so quiet here, and the location is superb. The little house is a lovely dream, with tasteful furnishings and everything we needed. The landlord was very nice.
