Being surrounded by woods was great for hiking, and I slept well. I spent two weeks at the hotel, which is set in an old mill turned into a hotel and restaurant. Places with history have always felt special and a bit magical to me. I enjoyed my stay overall. The restaurant's dinners and beer were very good, and breakfast had a wide choice of fresh, tasty things to put together. The Wi-Fi worked well, and parking wasn't a problem. A few things could be improved, though nothing was a dealbreaker. My room was rather dark, probably because of the building's layout, so I can see why that might be hard to change. The TV was about the size of a laptop screen, which felt small by today's standards. Room service was okay, but I would've liked the toiletries replenished sooner, before they were completely gone. Still, it's worth a visit. A solid four stars from me.

It's a very nice hotel in a cool setting, with sheep and deer around. The internet is the one drawback. You have to pay for it, and even then the connection keeps dropping. They restart the server and it works for a while, then it drops again and they restart it over and over.

My wife and I celebrated our 15th anniversary at Paradeismuhle. The dinner and service were excellent. We're already looking forward to coming back soon!

For peace and quiet, this is a good choice. But if you're after facilities and the bustle of a city, you'll feel like you're in the middle of nowhere.

A really nice hotel out in the countryside, with great staff.
