The rooms were comfortable, breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. There’s also a small outdoor bar just around the corner with a few tables, which seems like it’d be nice on a warm evening. The hotel itself is pleasant enough, though nothing special. What bothered me was the church nearby. Its bells start at 7 am on Saturdays and 6 am on Sundays, then ring every 15 minutes. If you’re hoping to sleep late after a night out, an upstairs room facing the church could be a problem.

I found two roaches during our two-night stay, which really put me off. At breakfast, the woman serving us charged me 5€ for a coffee to go in my own cup. It’s not an enormous amount, but a whole breakfast at the local „Bäckerei“ costs 5€, so it felt like far too much for one coffee. I’m not saying this is the worst place, but if I have another business trip in the area, I’ll stay at a different hotel.

The beer garden and good breakfast were a plus. It’s an older hotel, but it has what you need, and the rooms were clean. The employees were professional, and for the price I thought it was a very good choice.

There’s no air conditioning, and the bathroom is a little cramped. The rooms are about average for what you pay.

We had an absolutely lovely evening at the Restaurant, where we went for a crime themed dinner.
