They demanded payment upfront when we arrived. The courtyard was full of rubbish, and litter stayed on the entrance steps throughout our visit without the staff seeming concerned. The rooms and bathrooms looked as if they’d last been renovated in the 1980s. Overall, it was a dirty, noisy, expensive hotel. Definitely not one I’d recommend.

The staff were reliable, understanding, and friendly, which is why I gave the hotel five stars. It’s in Rosenheim, a short walk from the central station, and has been renovated nicely. The price is affordable, and there’s a good Indian restaurant. Restaurants, shops, and banks are all around the area. Check opening times, though: depending on where you’re visiting from, you may find that shops close early. If you’re from the Middle East, some shut by 7 p.m. and others by 9 p.m. Have a good stay.

The hotel is very conveniently located close to the station, and I was told on my last visit that renovations were underway. Most rooms are old, though, and the beds are extremely uncomfortable. There aren’t many hotels this close to the station.

The station is just a few minutes away on foot, so the location is ideal. The rooms need renovating and a more thorough clean, especially in the corners where there’s a lot of dust.
