Landhotel Haflingerhof

I especially enjoyed the morning walks, seeing calves, goats, horses, and other livestock and hearing their bells. Dinner at the restaurant was excellent, with an exceptional regional wine selection. My room was spacious and very neat, and the staff sometimes went above and beyond to make my stay as good as possible. I enjoyed my visit and hope I can return someday.

The carriage ride through the forest was an amazing experience, and we loved all the animals on the property, especially the horses. Landhotel Haflingerhof is also close to the famous Neuschwanstein Castle, and both nearby Roßhaupten and Füssen are delightful to visit. The scenery is unbelievable, and the place itself is beautiful. My four friends and I spent a few peaceful days there and wished we could have stayed longer. Our rooms were clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed to relax. Breakfast and dinner were tasty and plentiful, and the staff were friendly and helpful, especially when they tried speaking English with us since our German is very limited. We also loved their traditional Bavarian clothes. We highly recommend it and hope to return. Vielen dank! 😊

We spent four nights here at the end of our time in Germany. The hotel was very well run and the food was excellent. We also took the carriage ride and saw some amazing views of the area. We’d recommend this treasure to everyone.

The church bell outside rang every fifteen minutes and kept us awake, as we’re very light sleepers. Our room, Pauline, was above the kitchen too, which was noisy, and we hadn’t been told about that in advance. It’s something to bear in mind, though it shouldn’t put people off. The hotel is pretty, traditional, and full of character. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and staff wore traditional outfits. There were thoughtful touches like a welcome note on the bed, a place setting with our name on it, and a little jar of homemade marmalade when we left. We ate in the restaurant and enjoyed a very good meal and great beers. The room was quite large with a comfortable bed, though we should have asked for different pillows. The separate shower room and bathroom were clean and good. We had a double-aspect room, and it was a shame the weather was awful, since the area looked lovely.
