Apartments Am Strom 50

The location is fantastic, and that’s the one star I’m giving. The apartment itself was filthy. The dining table and floor were sticky, the windows looked as if they hadn’t been cleaned in ages, and the beds were worn, creaky, dusty, and covered in hair. The sofa and armchair were so stained and grimy that we didn’t dare sit on them. We were also told when we asked that the downstairs unit was barrier-free and wheelchair accessible, but neither claim held up. There’s a high step at the entrance, so it isn’t barrier-free. A ramp was tucked behind overflowing, smelly bins in front of the entrance, but when we called, no one at the landlord, "Favorent," seemed to know about it. Communication from the rental company was very poor. Inside, some doors were too narrow for a wheelchair, and the toilet couldn’t be used by wheelchair users either. When both features are claimed and confirmed on inquiry but neither is actually provided, it could be seen as deception.

The apartment was spacious, with two bedrooms and a terrace, and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed. It’s at the end of the Alter Strom (Old Stream), with a beautiful view, and the location is fantastic. All the important places in Warnemünde are within walking distance. The parking garage is about a five-minute walk away.

This ground-floor apartment was a great fit for a short break. It’s cozy, has everything you need, and the location is fantastic. We’ll remember it for next time.
