B&B Hotel Rostock-Hbf

Breakfast was what brought me here after reading so many great reviews, and it really delivered. There was a cold buffet, warm rolls, scrambled and fried eggs, bacon, sausage, and smoked salmon. I had salmon and scrambled eggs from the buffet, yum. There was a coffee machine too, and the seasonal decor looked really nice. The surprising extra among all the juices was white wine, a first for me in 58 years. The hotel is a five-minute walk from Rostock central railway. I didn't expect much, but was pleasantly surprised. Coffee at reception was free, check-in was good and fairly efficient, and my room was clean and tidy, with a big bathroom, a good shower, a comfy bed, and a balcony with an ashtray outside for a smoke if needed. I'd recommend it, especially for breakfast. Thank you.

There aren't any restaurants or bars near the hotel. The train station is about five minutes away, while the city center takes around 30 minutes to reach. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was very good, the best I've had in a long time.

I was passing through for work and stayed one night. The room was good, the service better than I expected, and for once I actually got a great night's sleep.

For its price and location, it's a good place to stay. I did mention that I had heavy luggage, but still got a room on the top floor, and there was no elevator. Aside from that, it was fine.
