A good stop if you're out with the bike.

The setting is unique, with water and forest close by. I can't comment on the restaurant itself, only the kiosk, and that was awful. The woman working in the kitchen was rushing around like mad, but the counter service was still no good. The bartender should find another job if I'm not even allowed to ask what the specials are. Maybe put "Specials" on the sign instead of "Kiosk" so people won't ask daft questions. The menu could also be displayed so I don't have to ask around at the counter. I waited 45 minutes for what seemed like ten customers and didn't complain. But after I ordered currywurst and fries, the food was terrible. How do you even get fries wrong? Mine weren't even lukewarm. The currywurst didn't deserve the name. I don't know what they were doing, but it was some kind of rubbery stuff in cold, old spiced sauce. They also gave me cake with whipped cream, which I highly recommend, but I still paid almost €17 for the whole thing. Great location, but I can't recommend it. One person can ruin everything, and the service was unacceptable. I'll come back and would be glad to be proved wrong.

The new owners are very friendly and happy to accommodate dietary needs, and the regular menu has plenty of choices. It's a lovely little restaurant for a day trip, and they can also host small parties and weddings. We had a fantastic Christmas buffet, and everything was delicious. Well worth a visit!

We had fresh, delicious food served on warm plates. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive without being pushy, just right. I'll definitely recommend the place, and we'll be back more often.
