Stopped in for a beer during a walk and went for self-service. The beer was cold, and service was friendly and quick. All good.

This review is only about the outside Imbiss. The staff there were rude, unfriendly, and inattentive, and the place seemed badly understaffed. Used plates and glasses piled up without anyone trying to clear the mess. The food was mediocre at best. It feels like the only place people can go, and some competition would surely help. The restaurant inside is the opposite: nice food and acceptable service. I've eaten there several times and never complained. The outside Imbiss is a different story. Update: I got the price increase wrong in my earlier review. It was about a different restaurant, and I apologize. After the Hotel contacted me by email to clarify, I removed that part. In that same email, management didn't say a word about the other points. They claimed I was deliberately trying to harm their business. I made a mistake and corrected it, but I stand by the rest of what I wrote. Two other people witnessed it.

After a good walk in the pleasant evening sunshine, we stopped here for a bite. Delicious food and excellent service.

The forest setting is pretty and quiet, with the hotel looking out over the beach, yet Warnemünde town centre is only a few kilometres away. There's a great bike path for getting there. This is a lovely, fairly small landhaus-style hotel, with very friendly staff, excellent food, and a really comfortable room and bed. Well worth a visit.
