Hotel Neptun

We stayed in room 3306 for a week and loved it. We booked through Love Holidays, paying a bit extra for a balcony and sea view, with breakfast included. The breakfast team were considerate and respectful; special thanks to Vide, who was attentive and remembered our usual order. Manuela at reception was a big help too. The #6 bus from the old town centre stops right at the hotel, and there’s a lovely promenade walk from the hotel group down to Sunny Beach. The hotel had everything we needed. We got home today and are already hoping to come back in October. Many thanks to all the staff.

The breakfast buffet was very good, and the pool looks out over the sea. The location is lovely, with a sea-view balcony in every room, and most of the staff were very kind. Our room had no air conditioning, though, and opening the window let insects in.

I stayed in November 2021 and had a great time. The views of the Baltic Sea from the balconies are breathtaking, and the hotel’s history goes back to some hard times. Breakfast is a delicious buffet, the wellness spa is top notch, and the staff are well trained. In the evenings there’s piano music in the lobby bar, then a relaxed penthouse bar later on. A quiet weekend here is a lovely way to unwind.

The Panorama Cafe was a nice stop for coffee and the view, but the hotel feels very outdated for a five star place. Its location is the main thing it has going for it. We drove there with a baby and used the indoor parking. There was no information about what size car would fit, and we had a hard time changing floors. We nearly crashed, as did the people behind us, who couldn’t get around a bend and badly damaged their side mirror and door. The parking isn’t accessible either. It only has stairs, with no way to leave or change floors with a stroller, wheelchair, or other mobility limitation. That’s unacceptable. It’s also expensive: €4 for the first hour, then €3.50 for every extra hour. The payment machine took cards only, no cash.
