Parkhotel Seeblick

The location is nearly at the far end of the beach, where we saw many nudists. That could be an issue for families with children. The beach itself was only mediocre: stones and sand mix at the waterline, while farther up it’s sandy. It looks as if sand once covered the whole beach, but the sea washed it away at the edge. The sun loungers stayed closed the whole time, so we couldn’t use them. Our room was generally good, but the WiFi signal was very weak and the network kept disappearing. The pillows were terribly uncomfortable, and there was no air conditioning, so the room temperature matched outside. We were lucky it was around 20 degrees; I can’t imagine staying there in hot weather. The pool is small but clean. Breakfast wasn’t included in the considerable room price, so I can’t comment on it. At reception, an elderly woman didn’t speak English, which spoiled our first impression. Fortunately, another woman waiting in line helped translate. What would we have done if she hadn’t been there? Cleanliness is the one thing I can praise. Otherwise, the hotel felt strongly mediocre, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to foreign visitors who don’t speak German.
