Prize by Radisson, Rostock City

If every hotel were run like the Prize, we'd all be in good hands. The place is very tidy and clearly managed well, and the staff are helpful, proactive, and close to perfect.

I stayed for seven days through the app "booking", with housekeeping scheduled every third day, but the cleaning was awful. Twice I had to ask the front desk for toilet paper. The first time they cleaned, they left the towels unchanged, and nothing happened after I told reception. On the next scheduled day, they forgot my room altogether. I had to complain in person. The receptionist was smoking and told me to remind housekeeping myself. I insisted she contact them, and eventually she did. The room was cleaned, but a shelf still had beach sand on it from four days earlier, tracked in on my clothes. They also didn't change the bedding. I had to go back to reception and demand fresh sheets, and they still hadn't changed them on the third day. Horrible housekeeping. I've included a photo of the shelf.

The hotel is very basic, with nothing nearby, and it feels far from everywhere. You'll need a tram or bus to get around. I wouldn't recommend staying here and wouldn't book it again.

The rooms are nice but very basic. The staff were so friendly and approachable that I had a nice time there. A great place to stay in Rostock.
