The people running this place greeted us with such warmth every day, and everyone from the wait staff to the owners was wonderful. When I got sick, the lovely couple went out of their way to help, offering to pick something up from the town pharmacy and bringing me chamomile tea. We booked four days over New Year’s Eve at extremely short notice, just two days ahead, and requested an all-vegan menu. Other places had turned us down, which would have been understandable, but here they said it was no problem. The chef made some of the best vegan food I’ve had in Europe. They put a lot of effort into making my New Year’s Eve meal as elaborate as the non-vegan menu, and even wrote out a vegan menu by hand just for me. Staying here was a real pleasure. In my opinion, anyone visiting the area and skipping this place is missing out.

The food is excellent, the staff are so friendly, and the beauty treatments are superb. After a week at Ziegleders, I go home feeling refreshed and start thinking about the next visit. I’ve loved coming back for more than 25 years, and it’s a hotel where I truly feel at home.

The yoga instructor was a real highlight, and the vegan detox food was excellent. I also enjoyed the treatments, which were good and beneficial. I spent a week on a detox program at Ziegleder. The hotel was fully booked, and it soon became clear that nearly everyone was a regular. The atmosphere is polished but still cozy, and the whole staff were notably friendly. I took off a star because the hotel is so close to the main road that traffic noise is definitely noticeable from 5 a.m. I’d also have liked one or two more activities, such as nutrition lectures.

The health benefits convinced me, and I’ll definitely return. I booked a detox week and was very pleased with it. The owners and the whole team were extremely friendly and accommodating. The kitchen made wonderful alkaline and vegan dishes, the treatments were all lovely, and the activity program kept each day full of energy. My expectations were exceeded. Thanks again to everyone at Ziegleder.
