That late-night noise is something to keep in mind if the hotel is full. When we stayed, there was just one other guest besides us, and around 10:30 p.m. we heard what sounded like furniture being dragged across a room. I’m not sure whether it came from above us. The bed was really uncomfortable, and the shower window had no blinds, so it didn’t feel private. The furnishings also felt dated, like being back in the ’90s. We got two stars for the clean room, though cleanliness should really be standard, and sadly it doesn’t seem to be anymore in Germany in general. Breakfast was paid for, but service only starts at 6:30, so if you need to leave earlier, there’s no refund.

The food was the highlight, really fantastic traditional Bavarian cooking, top quality and very fairly priced. I stopped by on a whim a few weeks ago, and the two young waitresses were very friendly too. Highly recommended!

The owners were so lovely, and we felt right at home. It was a really pleasant stay, with great rooms and a great location, plus excellent food. Thank you ❤️

We slept so well, the beds were very comfortable. The room was excellent too, spotlessly clean and furnished with real attention to detail. Dinner was superb, and breakfast had everything we could want. The owner and his daughter were warm and friendly, perfect hosts. We’ll definitely be back.
