The food was a real highlight, especially the venison, and it was all very good. The menu is traditional, though over a whole week I’d have liked more variety. They brew their own beer too, and it’s genuinely good. Everyone was friendly, and the service was great. We came as a family of two adults and two kids. At first the room felt a bit small for four, but we only used it for sleeping, and it was very clean. The kids loved the pool and playground, and we enjoyed being able to use the sauna in the afternoon. I’d come back for a long weekend, just probably not for a full week.

The restaurant felt welcoming, almost like being at home. I didn’t stay overnight, I was nearby and my host suggested stopping in for dinner and breakfast. The food was excellent, and the staff were friendly, courteous, welcoming, and professional. I’d gladly return for a meal if I’m in the area. I picked up a few mugs too. Don’t miss the gift shop, they have all kinds of things for you and your home.

It seemed like a family-run business, and it was really good. The people running the hotel and restaurant were very friendly. I had dinner there, and the food quality was excellent. My room was clean and had everything I needed. There was a minibar, though I didn’t use it, and plenty of parking. I’d highly recommend the place and would definitely visit again if I’m in the area.

The food was truly excellent, more of an experience than just a meal. The waitresses were kind to us even though several things got mixed up because we tried to speak German and weren’t very good at it.

Whenever I need a break from busy life, I love escaping to this little village under the German Alps. The authentic Bavarian food smells wonderful, and the freshly brewed beer gives the place a homely feel. There’s always something new on the menu no matter the season, and the rooms or decor change too, while that warm welcome stays the same. I’m already looking forward to going back, and I highly recommend a visit to Hubertus.
