Almbauernhof

The garden was great for both playing and relaxing, and our apartment had everything we needed. There were books and toys in the hallway too. With our 6 and 7-year-old kids, we could walk from the Almbauernhof straight into Ruhpolding and to the amusement park. The subway was an easy walk as well. It was our first visit to Ruhpolding, and we'll definitely come back.

The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, and the alpine farm was a dream for the children, who were free to explore everything. We spent a wonderful week there with our children and grandchildren in one of the most beautiful areas of Ruhpolding.

We loved spending our honeymoon here and would happily return. The alpine farm is only a 25-minute drive from Lake Chiemsee, in a beautiful region with stunning mountain views. Our room was comfortable and had its own bathroom. The owners were lovely, and there was plenty of parking on the private driveway right up to the house. Greetings, Lukas and Tina from Schweinfurt

We arrived with two dogs and loved being out in nature. The alpine farm is well placed for getting to the sights, and the rooms were very quiet, though not at all soundproof. The apartment was far too small for three people and two dogs. In Germany, it seems like almost anything can be called a vacation apartment. The kitchen had a hotplate, a small refrigerator, and a camping sink. There was a high table and two chairs, so our daughter had to sit on the windowsill. Even though I'd sent all the details and communicated by email, the landlords completely forgot about our daughter and one of the dogs. The free Wi-Fi was unreliable and stopped working altogether for the last two days. We made the best of it, but next time I'll check the details carefully instead of relying on the description.
