We’ll definitely come back soon. The hotel has a cozy traditional bavarian Style, a great location, and lovely views of the Alpes. The heating was comfortable even in low winter temperatures. Everything was very clean, and the service was absolutely excellent. The restaurant food was delicious and always freshly cooked. Staff in the restaurant, common areas, and house keeping were super kind and keen to meet guests’ wishes. My girlfriend has gluten intolerance, and they always had good options for her. Breakfast had plenty of varied choices for different tastes and needs, and cocktails and alcoholic drinks were available too.

We ordered fish soup and trout, and both were wonderful. The restaurant has traditional cuisine and an old bavarian style, with a calm, cozy atmosphere. The staff spoke enough English to understand us, though they weren't fluent, and our order arrived on time. We appreciated being able to enjoy the meal in our own company. It felt like being at home. Thanks to the young staff for the warm welcome.

Breakfast was a hit with everyone: a typical bavarian spread with some nice extras. My two young boys devoured the leberkase, and Papa loved the scrambled eggs. We were a family of four, joined by Oma and Papa, and Fischerwirt was a perfect start to our trip. It’s away from Ruhpolding’s bustle but close enough for shopping or a wander. The running, walking, and biking trails connect the area, and the hiking nearby is wonderful. Dinner was great too. We had two meals there and were so happy with them that we probably should have stayed for a third night. Sitting on the patio with mountain views and Hofbrauhaus Traunstein bier was lovely, and the boys especially liked the kinder schnitzel. The playground and open grass were a great touch. The boys could burn off energy and kick the fussball around while we relaxed, knowing they were safe and having fun without bothering anyone. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back!

The room was great, with a huge balcony, and the restaurant served excellent food. Staff were always friendly and helpful. I can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel and restaurant.
