The breakfast was really good quality, and the owner made us feel welcome right away. It’s a lovely, cozy little place. I’d happily recommend it and will definitely stay again next time I’m nearby, which should be soon.

The host was one of the best I’ve met, always ready to do pretty much anything to make the stay great. The rooms were clean, the bathrooms modern, and the beds comfortable. Right next to the Alps, it’s a place you really should visit. I’d give it more than 5/5 if I could! Oliver and company - Sweden 🌍

The English guesthouse information makes the drinks in the downstairs cooler sound like they might be free, but each option is charged. You pay at checkout along with the tourist tax. Getting around was easy: step off the train at Bibelöd and it’s a five-minute walk. Downtown, with a market and several places to eat and shop, is also walkable. Landhaus Pension Traunbachhäusl sits amid beautiful mountain scenery and feels homey. Breakfast was better than expected, with a lovely spread of fresh fruit and vegetables, cereal, toast, yogurt, spreads, and hot coffee kept warm on a tealight warmer.

The host was helpful and friendly, and breakfast was delicious. The guest house was immaculate and comfortable, in a quiet spot just a short walk from town. Ruhpolding is a stunning area.
