The radiators were always cold, and the apartment stayed below a comfortable room temperature. Rather than turn on the stove, the owner supplied thicker blankets. He also came into the rooms without warning, checked if lights had been on too long, and made sure the beds were perfectly made.

Family members stayed here and found it okay for a few nights, though I wouldn't suggest a longer visit. The property is very well looked after, but the rooms could be cleaner in places. There also isn't a separate entrance door to the rental, only a curtain opening onto a shared hallway, so privacy is limited.

The place is beautiful and the scenery peaceful, with good walking nearby. If you're backpacking and on foot, though, the next bus stop is about 2.5 km away, and Herrnut is around 6 or 7 km away. Our room had no sink, but it was well equipped with an oven, stove, toaster, kettle, and dishes. The host was friendly and helpful, and took good care of the outdoor areas and the things arranged in the accommodation. The listing said he spoke English, but he didn't, so we got along quite well with gestures and a few isolated words of German, plus only a rare bit of English. We liked the place and its owners. Wishing them health and God's protection in all they do. Whoever has God has everything! Thank you.

A relaxing place with a super friendly host, lots of space outdoors, and plenty for children to play with. It's a paradise for unwinding and for kids, and the price is very good for what you get. The rooms are perfectly adequate, just don't expect a luxury hotel.
