For €1200, we got three apartments for three nights, and they were in terrible condition. My cousin's family of three stayed elsewhere in a luxury apartment for €360 for the same length of time. We had booked three of the four apartments at the "Hirsch" holiday apartment on Hebelstrasse in Rust while visiting Europa-Park, for a group of 12. We had apartments 2, 3, and 4. The landlady's communication was very poor, often with no reply or a wait of several days. Apartment 2 was still occupied the morning we arrived and wasn't ready. At 5:00 PM it was still dirty, so we contacted her. Someone finally came to clean it at 6:00 PM. Apparently the usual check-in time is 5:30 PM. The landlady came around 5:00 PM to collect the remaining balance. We told her about several problems, but she brushed them off as if nobody had known about them beforehand. She had time to collect the money, but not to inspect the defects. Apartment 4 had loose, broken bathroom tiles that were a serious injury risk, a loose kitchen faucet, some dirty bed linens, and warped kitchen cabinet doors. Apartment 2's built-in fridge had apparently been out of service for a year and was completely moldy. The replacement fridge wasn't very clean either. The oven was filthy and rusty, so we couldn't bake our bread rolls, and the mattresses were worn out. Apartment 3 had a wooden crib that had fallen apart, though thankfully we didn't need it. There were several wasp nests on the terrace. The landlady said they had been removed the year before. All the mattresses there were worn out and completely saggy too. It was a rip-off for the price. I've never stayed anywhere this bad. Never again!

Those stains especially! There were marks on the sofa and chairs, which felt like a clear hygiene problem. The TV and internet didn't work, some blinds were broken, and there was no soap or shower gel, which I would normally expect. At over €100 for two people, the value for money seems questionable to me. Based on my own experience, I wouldn't book it again or recommend it.

We arrived at 8:00 PM and were told they couldn't provide breakfast the next day. If we'd known earlier, we could have bought our own supplies. We were also charged €200 for the two nights before we even saw the apartment. It turned out to be a tiny one-room flat with a double bed and a bunk bed, despite our repeated phone conversations asking for two separate bedrooms and being assured they were available. We booked online, two nights including breakfast, as discussed. A week before arrival, I called to confirm both the booking and the two-bedroom apartment, and was assured again. We were also told that canceling online could get us a lower price. When we asked about the wrong apartment, they said that since we had canceled, they had simply assigned a different one, and we could leave if we didn't like it. The microwave smelled bad because the previous guests had left rotten donuts in it. The sink wouldn't drain because the drain had come loose, so we had to fix it ourselves at 11 pm. The heating didn't work at all, and it was freezing at 3 degrees Celsius on both days. The entrance was a balcony door with no privacy screen and a direct view of the beds. When we got back from an outing the next day, there were no clean towels, even though we had left all of them on the floor outside the door. Never again!

We had a lovely day at Rulantica and stayed until 10:00 PM, but at 5:30 PM my boyfriend got a Booking.com message from the host saying check-in was only possible until 9:00 PM. It included the note, "Please call." We had booked a double room through Booking.com for July 19th to 21st to visit Rulantica and Europa-Park. A week before, on July 12th, my boyfriend entered our arrival time as 10:00 PM - 11:00 PM, since Rulantica closes at 10:00 PM, and the host confirmed it on Booking.com. Systematic scam!!! Beware!!! Do not book!!!

It was adequate for us since we were out and about all the time and didn't want to search for somewhere else, or if you go in with low expectations. But it costs too much for what it offers, so we'll stay elsewhere next time. The poor Booking.com rating left a bad taste too, because our booking was then declared a no-show. We're currently taking action over that.
