Kiefer-Apartments

We've stayed at Kiefer Apartments a few times, and every apartment we've had was clean and comfortable. The beds are good, though the pillows are the usual German kind, a bit soft and big. The host is friendly and speaks good English. Once we couldn't make the arrival time, but she found a solution. Let her know your plans ahead of time and ask what might work. This isn't a hotel with reception open around the clock. Europa-Park's main entrance is only a few minutes on foot, and there are good places to eat nearby. The host can point you to them. Across the street, inside the Italian restaurant, there's a great ice cream shop with options for people who are lactose intolerant. Rust also has several grocery stores with long opening hours, plus a very good bakery around the corner. Go early if you want to miss the rush. Parking around Rust can be scarce, but each apartment has a free spot right in front of the building. If you're bringing more than one car, ask the host in advance. There are enough spaces near the supermarkets. We've enjoyed each visit and will book again.

The apartment is less than a ten-minute walk from the park, with plenty of restaurants around. The rooms were large and had everything we needed, and parking was very convenient. The owner was so helpful and friendly that after cleaning, she even pinned a sweater we'd forgotten to our car.

My children were so excited when they saw the deluxe two-room apartment we booked at Kiefer Apartment. We stayed for two nights, and it was perfect. It's right in central Rust, about a ten-minute walk from Europapark, and convenient for shopping, restaurants, Rulantica, and Yullbe. The host was incredibly kind and enthusiastic in showing me around and explaining things. We checked in an hour and a half late, and she still came to meet us, even though we hadn't paid in advance. The apartments are conveniently close to the park. But the owners have no idea how to treat guests. At 20h they started complaining about noise while we were just having dinner. At checkout, we were made to clean everything twice so they wouldn't have to clean up after us, despite charging a cleaning fee. Completely unacceptable.
