The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, and the room was huge and clean, with a spacious bathroom. It's a nice place to stay, about a 15-minute walk from Europa Park. I did find it a bit pricey for the location, though.

The hosts made this trip feel like staying with family. Christine and the rest of the family welcomed us warmly, offered plenty of ideas for all ages, and kept folders of local suggestions in the hallway. Our room was spotless and even smelled of fresh flowers, and from the pension we could see some Europa-Park rides and the Rulantica fireworks. Pension Boitz is right in the village, an easy walk from Europapark and Rulantica, with restaurants and two supermarkets nearby. For a week in Rust, I’d suggest two days at Europapark, one at Rulantica, plus Badeparadies Schwarzwald about an hour away and Freiburg, roughly a 30-minute drive, for its attractions and architecture. We’re already thinking of returning with friends. Thanks for the service, gemütlichkeit, and the lovely memories ❤️

The pet policy needs to be made clearer. We arrived at reception after everything had seemed fine about bringing our dog, but then we were turned away.
