Hotel Crystal

I booked the Crystal hotel for a night to break up my drive from Belgium to Switzerland, since Saarbrücken was along the way. They kept reception open later for my delayed check-in, and the receptionist was very friendly. Seeing an available spot on the street, she offered me free parking. I added breakfast in the morning, and it was worthy of a four-star restaurant. The room was quiet and spacious, and I slept wonderfully. I’d recommend this hotel if you’re after a peaceful stay in a nice neighborhood with lovely staff.

Everything about the hotel was wonderful, and I didn’t expect to find such a beautiful place in this location. The service was fantastic, and the breakfast buffet was very nice. My room was big, very clean, and had a modern bathroom.

The staff are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are very clean, and the beds comfortable. It’s the kind of place that feels welcoming and secure, and you can tell they care about hospitality. From the balcony, breakfast came with an extraordinary view and a buffet of food made locally. I couldn’t find that anywhere else. The hotel is right in the heart of Lausanne, close to shops and sights, and just a short metro ride from the beautiful Lac Leman. For the full Swiss experience, hotel crystal is the place to stay. Don’t miss it!

The staff were warm and friendly. Our superior apartment was spacious, but the one we got faced the road on the ground floor, so we had to keep the blinds closed. Heating and cooling were uneven too. In the summer heat, the air conditioning only reached one bedroom, and they put a portable fan in the other. The stay could have been better. The hotel is quite far from the city centre and opposite a bus deposit. For a short stop while passing through, as we were, it was okay. For a longer stay, I’d look at similarly priced places nearer the centre.
